Belmount Hall is a welcoming haven set in the heart of the English Lakes, truly a ‘hotel within a home’
Belmount Hall, built in 1774, is a Grade II Listed building, and one of the finest Georgian houses in the English Lake District. It was gifted to the National Trust by Beatrix Potter in 1948. During 2006, it was completely refurbished to the highest contemporary standards by Chris and Gillie Addison, in conjunction with the National Trust.
Chris and Gillie Addison are your hosts. Through their restaurant, Jumping Jenny, and their catering services they have built an enviable reputation in the Lake District as restaurateurs, passionate cooks and hosts.
